About

“You must do the things you think you cannot do.” — Eleanor Roosevelt

My family moved from Ghana to London when I was 5 years old and it’s been home ever since.

I studied biomedical science at Lancaster, after which I worked as a research assistant at the animal and plant health agency. I recently completed the NHS Scientist Training Programme in clinical bioinformatics.

Today, I’m a PhD student in the Van Loo lab working on epigenetics in cancer evolution.

I spend the rest of my time following Eleanor’s advice.
